Lydia Dominguez was born in Juarez, Mexico, and raised in El Paso, Texas. She was honored to have served in the United States Air Force for ten years. 

 

During a twelve-year relationship, she attempted to escape her abuser seven times. Each time, Lydia was determined never to go back—until she did.  She was affected by severe physical, emotional, and financial abuse. With her book Don’t Turn Back, she hopes to promote self-awareness, accountability, empowerment, healing, and forgiveness.

 

Lydia now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, with her two children. She considers her faith and family to be most important to her.
